THE ANIMALS SAVE THE PLANET

Mas Casanovas cultural week goes from 19th to 23rd April.

This year it is based on Biodiversity.

Our school hall is now decorated as a deep Mediterranean sea.

We can see such species as the following ones:

Sardine

Starfish

Seahorse

Human actions and daily routines can damage the seas and pollute the environment.

The Animals Save The Planet tell us how to help reduce the human impact on the environment.

Watch the videos above and click on the below link to see more videos:

THE GIANT'S CAUSEWAY

Today we've learnt the legend about the Giant's Causeway.

The Giant's Causeway linked Ireland and Scotland.

In Ireland, there was an enormous giant called Finn McCool. He was really big! Look at his boot below! (You can see it in The Giant's Causeway in Ireland)

Finn McCool built the causeway to walk to Scotland to fight his Scottish counterpart Benandonner.

The day of the fight, Finn McCool fell asleep.

Benandonner crossed the bridge to meet Finn in Ireland.

Benandonner arrived at Finn's house but Finn was not at home.

Finn's wife saw that Benandonner was bigger than Finn and she had a brilliant idea! She dressed sleepy-Finn as a baby!

When Benandonner saw how big the 'infant' was, he assumed his father, Finn, must be gigantic!

Therefore, Benandonner went back home in terror, destroying the Causeway in case he was followed by Finn.

JUSTIN BIEBER - BABY

Our 4th B graders asked me to practice this song in class. How about some home practice in the meanwhile?

HELLO / GOODBYE
